![]() ![]() I used the research process, and the Comic Life experience, to refine my ideas about creating a video on a specific topic at a later stage. The Comic Life part was actually really quick, which was a bit disappointing in a sense of wanting to play with the software, but satisfying when working against a deadline. It was about 80-20 80% of my time to research the topic, write down the ideas, organise them, develop the script, create the images for the cells. All the templates and presets are great to get you started but would not restrict you to create more advanced and custom designs later.įor my own learning, the planning stage revealed itself to be crucial, no surprise there. In conclusion, this is a neat little program, that allows a quick start in making Comics. It was great to see the export choices available, like ePub and other online publishing formats. I discovered several tricks and shortcuts along the way to resize cells but not pictures or vice versa, played around with various text and speech bubbles formatting.Įven with a powerful laptop (well, I think after spending over 3,000$ on it) at page 3, things started to slow down dramatically, refresh was dragging its digital feet.
