![]() ![]() I used the research process, and the Comic Life experience, to refine my ideas about creating a video on a specific topic at a later stage. The Comic Life part was actually really quick, which was a bit disappointing in a sense of wanting to play with the software, but satisfying when working against a deadline. It was about 80-20 80% of my time to research the topic, write down the ideas, organise them, develop the script, create the images for the cells. All the templates and presets are great to get you started but would not restrict you to create more advanced and custom designs later.įor my own learning, the planning stage revealed itself to be crucial, no surprise there. In conclusion, this is a neat little program, that allows a quick start in making Comics. It was great to see the export choices available, like ePub and other online publishing formats. I discovered several tricks and shortcuts along the way to resize cells but not pictures or vice versa, played around with various text and speech bubbles formatting.Įven with a powerful laptop (well, I think after spending over 3,000$ on it) at page 3, things started to slow down dramatically, refresh was dragging its digital feet. The templates are easy to adjust, overall it went well. I used some layouts but since I didn’t plan then in advance, I had no idea which to select (a bit more planning here). Sounds too simple? well it kind of was.Ĭomic life offers a broad range of templates and styles to start from and format your content. I started to throw cells, place my edited images in there (drag and drop is great), and apply filters. Photos taken and edited, I went back to Comic Life. Life is too short sometimes, or deadlines are a bit too tight! I would use other apps like drawing apps on the iPad (but I am not that great at drawing), browse the web (Copyright Alert, check for rights to use sources) or simply outsource it to or. This means I had to take time to plan my shots, take the photos, throw then in PhotoShop for a bit of editing. ![]() It might take 15-20 years to become a headliner, and most comedians will not reach that level of success. For each line of text (later turned in speech bubbles) I sketched ideas. He or she performs between an hour to an hour and a half. ![]() I created a short script from a list of bullet points. I quickly realised that I had to close Comic Life, get to my pen and paper (OneNote in my case) and start typing ideas. Templates (Above right), blank pages with drag & drop styles (bottom right). A couple of short YouTube videos later I was well on my way. Dont just think of it as a comic strip creator. I am probably too used to Adobe streamlined interfaces. The interface is simple and could be a bit more consolidated. #Comic life styles mac#I used the Apple Mac version of the package. #Comic life styles software#The software was easy to download and install. The brief was to create a 4 pages comic on the EEA model ( Educational Entrepreneurial Approach) following a methodology of Explore-Understand-Create-Transform That was fun, then it wasn’t, then it was again! ![]() ![]() ![]()

How do you zoom in on a map Users can zoom the map by clicking the zoom controls. public class PlacesDisplayTask extends AsyncTask>, PERMISSION_REQUEST_CODE) Make sure you’re using the latest version of Zoom: There have been a number of Zoom updates recently, the latest version at the time of writing is Zoom 5.5.2, so it’s worth checking that you’re using the latest version of the app. The below class displays the markers and infowindow in the map. What can I do to avoid the automatic zooming out thing in map? I just want to have control in that zoom out event. But when I zoom in 2-3 or more times on the map to click on my required marker, it zooms out automatically in some time. When suppose I click on restaurants, it loads nearby restaurants around users current location correctly in the Google Map. But just to make sure, select the Zoom Tool from the toolbar.I am working on a map based application to find out nearby places (like Restaurants, Hospitals, etc) around user's current location. This feature should be turned on by default. Scrubby Zoomīut my favorite way, and the fastest way, to use the Zoom Tool is with a feature called Scrubby Zoom. To zoom out continuously, add the Alt key or the Option key, and then click and hold. After a second or so, Photoshop will start zooming in continuously until you release your mouse button. With the Zoom Tool active, click on an area where you want to zoom in and keep your mouse button held down. Continuous ZoomĪnother way to use the Zoom Tool is with a feature known as Continuous Zoom. Release the Alt or Option key to switch back to zooming in, and release all the keys to switch back to the previous tool so you can keep on working. To zoom out, add the Alt key, or the Option key on a Mac. I will zoom out and the screen at random times zooms back in and might zoom back out or not while playing. You’ll have access to the Zoom Tool for as long as the keys are held down so you can click on an area to zoom in. ![]() H1Z1 WHEN I ZOOM IT ZOOMS OUT MACMac users may need to hold the spacebar first, then the Command key, to avoid a conflict with the MacOS operating system. H1Z1 WHEN I ZOOM IT ZOOMS OUT WINDOWSJust hold down the spacebar and the Ctrl key on a Windows PC, or the spacebar and the Command key on a Mac. So i have blurry screen when i zoom in first person/third person, when i aim on someone its blurry my screen and it make hard to shot him cuz its Press J to jump to the feed. But rather than selecting it from the toolbar every time you need to zoom in or out, a better way is to access the Zoom Tool temporarily from your keyboard. So the Zoom Tool is great for zooming in on a specific area. H1Z1 WHEN I ZOOM IT ZOOMS OUT HOW TOHow to temporarily switch to the Zoom Tool from your keyboard I even removed my BT headset and re-paired and connected it. I cannot find anything about this online. I've looked at every setting in Win10 AND in Zoom. Go to View > Show > Pixel Grid to turn the grid on and off. I wouldn't be this frustrated, if it hadn't been working already and then just 'broke' for no apparent reason. That’s because the 50% zoom level on the right is giving us a more accurate view. Notice how her eyelashes look softer on the left and sharper on the right. And on the right is the image zoomed in to 50% (one of the presets). So Photoshop needs to redraw the image with fewer pixels while still trying to make it look as accurate as possible.īut if you’re zoomed in at a value other than one of these presets, the image will look softer on your screen than it really is.įor example, on the left is the image zoomed in to an odd value, like 51.25%. Any time we’re viewing the image at a zoom level less than 100%, we’re not seeing all of the pixels. These are the zoom levels that give us the most accurate view of the image. And if you press Ctrl+- (Win) / Command+- (Mac) repeatedly to zoom out, the zoom level jumps from 100% back to 66.7%, then 50%, 33.3%, and then back to 25%. Continue zooming in and the zoom level jumps to 50%, then 66.7%, and then 100%. ![]() ![]()
